Johannesburg, March 2023: Black Brain Pictures’ hit telenovela DiepCity has won the Royalty Soapie Award for Social Cohesion at the 2023 ceremony. This award is endowed to a daily TV drama (soapie/telenovela) production that has demonstrated the ability to address the most current social affairs/social ills affecting our communities within the series’ storyline.

DiepCity also received the Best Writing Team award on the night and eTV primetime hit The Black Door was awarded the Black Best Lighting Direction.
