The eagerly awaited JAM ‘n JAZZ festival, taking place over two enchanting days on September 16th and 17th, 2023, promises an immersive experience that will leave music aficionados and culture enthusiasts alike enchanted and rejuvenated.

A Picnic Vibe Infused with Art and Music

JAM ‘n JAZZ beckons with an irresistible blend of laid-back picnic vibes, live musical performances, a tantalizing food emporium, and a treasure trove of artisanal delights at the Smalls Street flea market. The ambiance is set to resonate with the melodies of local talents and the joyful chatter of patrons browsing the market stalls. One of the festival’s highlights is the captivating Beer and Spirit Garden, where between 1 pm and 2 pm on both days, patrons purchasing a beer or cider receive an additional two drinks—absolutely free—while stocks last, adding an extra layer of delight to the festivities.

A Star-Studded Lineup of Musical Maestros

The heart and soul of JAM ‘n JAZZ are the luminary artists who will grace the stage with their incomparable talents. Leading the symphony of sounds is the legendary Sipho HOTSTIX Mabuse, a true cultural icon whose hits, including “Burn Out,” “Shikisha,” and “Jive Soweto,” have etched themselves into the collective soul of the nation. Sharing the limelight on the 16th is Mandla Ntlaks, channeling the spirit of the revered Tsepo Tshola.

Sliq Angel, known for his sleek charm and chart-topping singles like “Mbombela” and “Amantongomane,” will weave his magic, while Tabia, Csana, Raven Duchess, and others will grace the stage with their enchanting melodies. The Nokwe Family Experience is a true spectacle of talent, where the gifted offspring, Bikos Manna and Mfundo, join their esteemed elders, Dr Tu Nokwe, Marilyn Nokwe, Poto ‘Godfather’ Nokwe, and Ayanda Nhlangothi, in a performance that promises to be deeply rooted in the essence of art.

A Dance of Culture and Music

On September 17th, JAM ‘n JAZZ transforms into Diggers Day, a celebration of Jazz Appreciation Clubs and the jazz dance culture.
