KHAYA MTHETHWA & RORISANG THANDEKISO TO LIGHT UP CROWNS AWARDS NIGHT

Excitement is soaring as the 16th annual Crowns Gospel Awards 2023 draws near, promising an unforgettable evening hosted by the dynamic duo of Khaya Mthethwa and Rorisang Thandekiso.

Khaya Mthethwa, a seasoned host with prior experience at the awards, is not only a charismatic presenter but also a celebrated artist and award-winning performer, bringing an extra layer of excitement to the event. On the other hand, Rorisang Thandekiso, a multi-talented individual known for her prowess in singing, TV hosting, and media, injects a fresh and vibrant energy to the stage. Together, they are set to keep the audience engaged, entertained, and immersed in the magic of the evening.

The anticipation is palpable as the countdown ticks away to the gold carpet event, hosted for the first time in Johannesburg. The awards are scheduled to take place on Sunday, 26 November, at the FNB Stadium, inside a 10,000-seater dome marquee. GOLD CARPET GLAMOUR AND STAR-STUDDED ATTENDEES

More than 300 gospel artists, producers, celebrities, and media representatives will grace the gold carpet event adorned in the most stylish garments. The FNB Stadium will be transformed into a dazzling spectacle of fashion and music, promising an atmosphere of excellence and incredible talent.

“I am blown away by the level of excellence displayed here and the talent that has been on stage,” expresses the province’s arts, culture, sports, and recreation MEC Morakane Mosupyoe. Gauteng is honored to host The Crowns, and the enthusiasm to keep the event for another seven years is evident.

Over 120 South African celebrities, including Winnie Ntshaba, Sophie Ndaba, and McDonald Ndou, have confirmed their attendance for the awards night.

CROWNS AWARDS NOMINEES ANNOUNCED

Zanele Mbokazi’s music powerhouse, the founder of The Crowns, recently unveiled this year’s nominees across various categories. The diverse list showcases outstanding talent in the gospel music industry, from acapella and rap to traditional and contemporary gospel.

Among the notable categories are Best Gospel Newcomer, Best Gospel Live Recording, Best Gospel Group, and the highly anticipated Best Gospel Song category, featuring renowned artists such as Tebs David, 3C Live, and Sbu Banda.

As the excitement continues to build, fans are reminded to adhere to event restrictions, including the prohibition of certain items, to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees. With the dynamic hosting duo of Khaya Mthethwa and Rorisang Thandekiso, the 16th Crowns Gospel Awards promises to be a night to remember, celebrating excellence in gospel music and fashion.
