Rorisang Thandekiso Shines Again: From Yotv to Wheels of Fortune

Rorisang Thandekiso, the singer and TV presenter who made her mark on SABC 1’s youth program Yotv and anchored popular shows like Chartroom and Mzanzi Insider, has secured another significant role with the renowned American game show, Wheels of Fortune.

This American television game show, often referred to simply as Wheels, has been on air continuously since January 1975. Contestants compete by solving word puzzles, similar to hangman, to win cash and prizes determined by spinning a giant carnival wheel.

With the franchise expanding to South Africa, Rorisang Thandekiso was seen as the perfect fit. Known for her bubbly personality and being the life of the party, she made history as the first female anchor of this esteemed game show franchise. She joins the ranks of greats like Pat Sajak, who hosted the show since its premiere in September 19, 1993, alongside his sidekick Vanna White.

Broadcast in over 40 countries and now in our own backyard, contestants have the chance to win a Suzuki Grand Vitara Hybrid and other prizes. Viewers can tune in to SABC 3 Monday to Friday at 7:30 pm to catch the excitement of the game show.
