Metro FM’s vibrant voice, Zola Mhlongo, is switching mics for the small screen — and let’s just say, she’s not here to play. In My Brother’s Keeper, Zola steps into the stilettos of Nkosazana, a character that’s bold, mysterious, and dangerously magnetic.

Nkosazana isn’t your average side character — she’s a former associate of Donga’s, someone he met through his tendering hustle, and she’s now stepping back into his life with her own agenda. Described as a “working girl in waiting to be a kept girl,” Nkosazana is the kind of woman who doesn’t chase money — money chases her.

She’s that girl who walks into a room and everything shifts. She smells like money (we’re guessing an unapologetically expensive perfume), she talks like power, and she’s got that aura that says, “I’m not here for a good time. I’m here to change your whole game.” And change it, she will.

Zola Mhlongo brings her A-game, fusing sensuality, street smarts, and undeniable presence into Nkosazana’s role. She’s shaking the table, blurring lines, and breaking the barriers of what we typically expect from female characters in this space. This is a woman who knows what she wants, knows the price, and knows how to get it — all while keeping her stilettos spotless.

It’s thrilling to see Zola Mhlongo expand her range — from radio waves to primetime drama — and absolutely own it. Nkosazana might just be the one to turn someone’s world upside down… and we’ll be watching closely to see whose.

One thing’s for sure: Zola’s not just stepping into character — she’s making one.
