Genevive releases a comeback anthem titled “Twinkle”
Another comeback anthem, “Twinkle” is the 3rd brand new single from Genevive. Following a brief hiatus, Genevive is back and better than ever before, launching herself into a new genre whilst maintaining her characteristic sound that is full of attitude and talent. Portraying the feeling that music is life and that life is to be lived. Twinkle is an exciting and positive release from this talented artist. Genevive showcases her impressive vocal abilities on this track and worked with producer Picasso and rapper Dre to complete this huge new release. Genevive has loved music from an early age, all starting in the church choir. She kept pursuing her dream to become a singer during her young life but to no avail. Together with Sisco from Multi Racial Records she released her first single ‘Desire’ which featured on ‘Ganyani 6’. The single was a great hit and got a large amount of airtime on YFM and Metro FM. Genevive then started working with late Rowick Deep & MoFlava from YFM and released her second single ‘Closer’ on his album ‘Rock the Girls’. To kick-start 2023, the award-winning production house will release a slew of light-hearted and entertaining new productions that are launching in the first quarter of the new year. For over two decades, Black Brain Pictures and its team of talented creatives have become synonymous with creating dynamic, captivating and award-winning content that resonates with mass audiences. Their first hit show was City Ses’la, a comedy show that kept viewers in stitches for two seasons between 2005 and 2007. Now they are going back to where it all began, starting with a new 13-part comedy series on Mzanzi Magic titled Lenyalo Ha se Papadi. “Over the past few years, the telenovela, drama and reality genres have been a hit with our viewers. One genre we’re excited to also bring to the forefront on our channel slates is comedy. We’re constantly ahead of the curve when it comes to viewer tastes and preferences, and diversifying our line-up is a move we are confident our audience will embrace,” says Shirley Adonisi, Director of Local Entertainment Channels at M-Net.
